"Foam rolling increases scar tissue and helps break up scar tissue."

Foam Rollers are long, round, cylindrical-shaped foam.   It is used in massage and physical therapy, as well as health clubs.  Rolling the foam tool over your body helps to increase circulation, as well as giving an overall massage to the muscles.

It helps relieve muscle tightness and joint stiffness.  It can be used prior to a professional massage, thereby helping the massage therapist go deeper into the muscle tissue. Foam Rollers can also be used as a warm-up before exercise and a cool-down after exercise.

Some people think foam rollers feel good on their bodies.  Others experience some discomfort in different muscles. There may be a bit of discomfort in the beginning due to muscle tightness, but used regularly, a foam roller can be a way of giving your body a free massage!

Note: Do not use if you have vericose veins, feel nauseous or experiencing pain.
