Allergy diet to help decrease symptoms of seasonal allergies...
*dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, ice cream)
*sugar (candy, sweets, table sugar, fruit juices, soft drinks...clear diet drinks are ok.)
*grains (wheat, barley, rice, and corn; chips, bread, cereal, pasta; no grains of any kind.)
*sodas (dark sodas with sugar)
*tomatoes (totmatoes and tomato products, all tomato products including pizza, pasta, hot sauces, ketchup and fresh tomatoes)
*citrus fruits and juices (grapefruit, oranges, lemons and limes)
*chocolate (candy bars, chocolate milk and drinks, chocolate in any form)
What you CAN eat:
*fruit (except citrus)
*vegetables (except tomatoes)
Eating this way during your allergy season will help decrease many if not all of your allergy symptoms. Once your allergy season is over with, you can go back to eating as before.
Some people have allergies in the spring, some in the fall, some in the winter or in the summer. Depending on the time of year you tend to react with allergy symptoms, try this allergy diet and see if it helps decrease your symptoms.
