"Eat a salad or raw vegetables with your party food.  The live enzymes in the raw vegetables help to digest the cooked or unhealthy foods...

Raw vegetables have live enzymes in them and help digest themselves as well as any cooked food you may eat it with.  Cooked food (food heated over 116 degrees farenheit) has no live enzymes.

So what's the big deal?

Because cooked food has no live enzymes in it, the cooked food has to pull from your body's storage of digestive enzymes, thereby making you tired.  Digestion (w/o live enzymes) takes more of your body's energy than running, swimming or bike riding!

So next time you eat cooked food at a party make sure you eat some raw vegeatables with it. "
