"Eating enough fruit in the morning (on empty stomach) can help decrease sugar cravings that may occur later in the day or evening...

Fruit has sugar, but it is the healthy sugar our body needs for energy and brain power.  Our brain can only function on carbohydrates.  Fruits are carbohydrates.  Eating them early in the day gives your body energy/fuel.

Replacing refined sugar with raw fruit (on empty stomach), helps keep you on track regarding holiday eating.  Eating fruit early in the day may help you eat less sugary holiday sweets."
