"Real gratitude is about being grateful for anything and everything in your life.  Gratitude is the appreciation of having a job, a roof over your head, wonderful friends and family, having the eyes to see nature, ears to hear beautiful music, taste buds to savor delicious foods and the incredible feeling of touch...

A great way to shift yourself out of a bad mood is to think--or better yet, write--about the blessings you have been given in your life.  Pick up a pen and write down at least 5 things you are grateful for.  It is a good way to pull yourself out of the "poor me" syndrome.

There are sooo many things to be grateful for.
The list is endless."
