A great way to shift yourself out of a bad mood is to think--or better yet, write--about the blessings you have been given in your life. Pick up a pen and write down at least 5 things you are grateful for. It is a good way to pull yourself out of the "poor me" syndrome.
There are sooo many things to be grateful for.
