REAL METABOLISM:
3 parts to metabolism:
1. Activity metabolism -  the amount of energy it takes to perform various activities such as sports, hobbies, etc.
2. Thermic metabolism - the amount of energy it takes to regulate a healthy body temperature.
3. Basal metabolism - the amount of energy it takes to make your body function...at rest.
