Sometimes we cling to things, people or situations, hoping it works out the way we'd like.
We get so attached to "desired outcomes," that we kill it or cut off the life line.
Once we release the emotional attachment, THAT's when the real outcome can kick into gear.
Have intentions of what you'd like, but don't cling to it so tightly it can't manifest.
